On top of the springs are generous layers of upholstery including soft hollow fibres & satin pads.
It's a great mattress. Manufactured here in the UK using a medium firm spring. Finished in a high quality Belgian damask fabric, with vents along the side to allow the mattress to breathe and stay cool.
Handles along the side for ease of turning and rotating.
